Nigel Henry is a senior leader, customer experience expert, entrepreneur, speaker, coach and mentor, whose international professional journey has taken him from the UK to Canada, and now the USA.
Nigel earned an MSc. Degree in Food Safety and Control from London South Bank University, UK. While in London, Nigel gained extensive experience leading process optimization functions in the manufacturing industry, gained six sigma black belt certification, and honed his skills as a change management expert. Nigel’s combined academic qualifications and his practical, hands-on experience working at some of the UK’s most respected food companies, provided him with an excellent platform to enter the restaurant business, an industry which he passionately loves. In 2013, Nigel relocated to Canada and joined Yum! brands where he led the quality, compliance, and customer experience programs over the course of his time with the business. Nigel was able to successfully elevate the food safety and quality performance of both suppliers and restaurants by implementing strategic improvement programs, governance processes and new and improved complaint handling and auditing platforms.

In 2017, Nigel relocated to the USA and became Pizza Hut’s Director of Customer Experience and Compliance, a role in which he led the customer experience strategy, compliance and governance programs for Pizza Hut’s 6,000+ locations. Under Nigel’s leadership, Pizza Hut US developed new and innovative customer first strategies, compliance programs and brand standards to enable differentiated and distinctive experiences for customers and team members alike.

Nigel was then asked to lead a new organization within Pizza Hut as Director of Restaurant Excellence (Product). Tasked with creating frictionless team member experiences, and by extension, elevated customer experiences for Pizza Hut utilizing product thinking, Nigel focused on creating tech products that users love and elevating operational capabilities to drive business growth.
