After starting his career at the restaurant level in San Diego, CA, he's navigated technology roles from help desk coordinator to director of information Technology. Sean has worked both as a vendor and a customer which enables him to look at problems from both sides of the table and create viable solutions that encourage long, healthy, and productive restaurant operator relationships. Sean has been with Ford Restaurant Group since 2013 as the director of Information Technology and has managed a complete tech stack refresh for operational and administrative technologies. He thoroughly enjoys working with operators to find ways to make their day to day more efficient so they can spend more time creating a great guest experience and less time worrying about technology and support. As the director of IT, Sean oversees technology operations at 65 restaurants, operating 7 different brands.
Sean has 2 teenage children; his son is preparing to graduate high school and go off to college while his daughter is 15 (going on 24) enjoys running track and cross country. Sean's wife works in sales, and that has given him the training to walk away from arguments as quickly as possible! When Sean isn’t working with operators, he enjoys golfing and spending time on the lake with his family.
