Denise has been a multi-unit franchisee, owner, and operator of Sonic Drive-ins for more than 20 years. As her company grew, her main focus was development, construction, and financing. Today, Denise is responsible for ensuring the financial stability and health of operations. She looks for innovative solutions to maximize profitability in operations, human resources, food safety, and training, while also ensuring her company is navigating the constant changes in labor and employment laws. As a business owner in the state of California, one of her greatest concerns is managing the growing labor and supply costs while still meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Denise earned a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. She grew up in the fast-food franchising world, learning everything from her father, Daniel Chu, who at one time was the largest Asian American franchisee in the United States with multiple brands. Denise is excited about her latest venture, as a new franchisee with BWWGo, in Southern California.
